Indeed, within one week, Hoffmann’s site was on the first page of Google, resulting in many leads.
But only one week later, his site ended up in Google’s Sandbox and never surfaced again! The Internet Marketing company that Hoffmann spent the money on simply said that it was out of their control and that the blacklisting of his site had nothing to do with their SEO work as Google kept changing their algorithms!
Needless to say Hoffmann got none of his money back.
He was so disappointed by this major SEO company that he started learning all about SEO only to do it better himself.
